Take the Lakeview neighbourhood, for instance—developments like Brixen Developments’ Exhale Condominiums illustrate the attractive renewal model in older communities along major transit corridors.

Exhale Condominiums is located at the corner of Lakeshore Road East and Dixie Road, combining the beauty of nature and urban infrastructure. This luxurious escape is set close to parklands near Lake Ontario, as well as the Lakeshore West line and Long Branch GO station.

Mississauga’s waterfront communities are gaining immense attention from developers and house hunters alike. Take the Lakeview neighbourhood, for instance—developments like Brixen Developments’ Exhale Condominiums illustrate the attractive renewal model in older communities along major transit corridors.
At the corner of Lakeshore Road East and Dixie Road, Exhale Condominiums boasts a unique integration of natural beauty and urban infrastructure. It’s nestled near parklands by Lake Ontario and closely located to GO Transit’s Lakeshore West line and Long Branch GO station.
“This presents a fantastic chance to provide much-needed housing options and deliver bespoke designs that respond sensitively to the surroundings,” said Andrew Iacobelli, Co-Founder of Brixen Developments. “We strongly believe in this Mississauga area and take pride in envisioning a project that uncovers the potential of this site and embraces the anticipated changes to the neighbourhood.”
Leveraging the location, Exhale Condominiums will rejuvenate an under-utilized site, previously a modest strip plaza. An 11-story mid-rise by Architecture Unfolded will replace it, offering 284 boutique condo units.
The Toronto-based firm esQape Design will be responsible for the building’s interiors, capturing the area’s distinct charm and translating it into fine interiors. “The building’s proximity to the waterfront and abundant green spaces inspired our interior concepts,” said Carmen Dragomir, Principal Designer esQape Design. “We aimed to spark conversations among residents by designing spaces that encourage engagement, blending warm neutral tones with light, breezy colours and oversized, visually striking stone features.”
The project will also house an extensive amenity program, including a fitness center, co-working spaces, children’s play areas, dining rooms, a rooftop terrace with lake views, and more. Since its founding in 2019, this marks Brixen’s fourth project and is the following stride in its pursuit to deliver urban lifestyle housing to suburban GTA communities. The project is projected to conclude in 2026.
